SUNRISE COOPERATIVE AWARDS
 
$20,000 IN SCHOLARSHIPS
 
We are pleased to announce the recipients of our fifth annual Sunrise Cooperative College scholarships. Terra Community College in Fremont judged the entries.
 
We had a total of 121 entries vying for twenty $1,000 scholarships. Terra reviewed the written entries and narrowed them to 37 finalists. Each finalist was invited to an oral interview. From these interviews, twenty were chosen for the scholarships.
They are:
 
Timothy L. Cutler of Sandusky, Ohio.  Timothy is presently attending the University of Dayton pursuing a degree in Pre-medicine and Psychology.

Sarah Harder of Oak Harbor, Ohio.  Sarah is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness from The Ohio State University. 

William Hebble of Shelby, Ohio.  William is currently attending the University of Toledo, where he is pursuing a Civil Engineering degree.

Jessika Volz of Mansfield, Ohio.  While attending the University of Evansville, Jessika is pursuing a degree in Athletic Training / Physical Therapy.

Lucas Recker of Findlay, Ohio.  Lucas currently attends Arcadia High School.  He plans to pursue a degree in Animal Science at the University of Findlay.

Andrea Kautz of Columbus, Ohio.  Andrea currently attends The Ohio State University and is completing her degree in Zoology, with plans to pursue her Masters in Entomology in the fall. 

Julie Russell of Pemberville, Ohio.  Julie is pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from The Ohio State University.

Katie J. Linder of Edison, Ohio.  Katie is currently attending Wilmington College where she is studying Agriculture, with concentration in Agronomy.

Eric Leber of Monroeville, Ohio.  Eric currently attends The Ohio State University where he is pursuing a degree in Agricultural Systems Management.

Jared Wynn of Ashland, Ohio.  Jared is studying for a degree in Animal Science at Butler County Community College.

Katlyn Kirsch of Fremont, Ohio.  Katlyn attends Fremont Ross High School and Terra Community College.  She wants to pursue a degree in Agri-communications / Animal Science, and has yet to decide which college she will attend. 

Megan Miller of Vickery, Ohio.  Megan presently attends Eastern Michigan University where she is pursuing a degree in Music Therapy.

Melissa Lucius of Attica, Ohio.  Melissa is studying for a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry at Otterbein University.

Leslie Anne Kranz of Shelby, Ohio.  Leslie attends Ohio University and is pursuing a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.

Daniel Williams of Tiffin, Ohio.  Daniel presently attends Old Fort High School.  He plans to attend Bowling Green State University and pursue a degree in Management Information Systems.

Hayley Beck of Norwalk, Ohio.  Hayley attends Western Reserve High School, and plans to pursue an Agricultural Communications degree from The Ohio State University in the fall.

Stephanie Hill of Fremont, Ohio.  Stephanie is a senior at Old Fort High School.  In the fall she plans to attend the University of Findlay to pursue a Master’s Degree in Athletic Training.

Amy Miller of Delta, Ohio.  Amy is a senior at Pike-Delta-York High School and plans on pursuing a Biochemistry degree at Bowling Green State University in the fall.

Keegan Conry of Lodi, Ohio.  Keegan is currently attending Case Western Reserve University and is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry.

Mikaela Bush of Edison, Ohio.  Mikaela is in her senior year at Mount Gilead High School.  After graduation she plans to attend Ashland University to pursue
